Powder Coating Motorcycle Parts

Remove all parts that need coating, such as the frame, fenders, and any other components. Take off hardware like bolts, nuts, and clips, which can be replaced or coated separately.

Thoroughly clean the parts to remove dirt, grease, and old paint. Use a degreaser and wash with soap and water. We can sandblast to remove old paint and corrosion.

Check for any damages like cracks or rust. Repair these issues before coating, as powder coating can highlight imperfections.

Use high-temperature tape and plugs to mask areas that shouldn’t be coated, such as threads, mounting points, and other critical surfaces.
